Weddings | Photography in Co Clare
As a photographer of I feel it is a privilege to be allowed to take part in such a personal occasion. I do my utmost to capture the event with a sense of honesty and truth.
As a result, my photography creates lasting memories that will make the couple smile for decades to come.
I can disappear into the background, or step forward and take control – it’s totally the bride and groom’s decision. However, my mission is to be in the right place at the right time, moving discretely through the celebrations and amongst the guests, capturing the moments that often the bride and groom miss.
Let’s face it, it’s a busy day for the happy couple and they can’t be everywhere at once.
This page features some of my candid wedding photography blog posts.
You can get an idea right away by looking at these posts of how I shoot weddings.
I always want my clients to remember their wedding, not remember the time spent with the photographer.

Frequently Asked Questions
What geographical areas do you serve?
I can and will travel anywhere in Ireland or out foreign to photograph your wedding.
We are looking for a mixture of candid and posed family photos. Can you do both?
Always. My visual storytelling style leans toward a candid, documentary approach (the kids being hilarious, the dog licking your face), but posed family photographs, where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera, are also treasured keepsakes. I find a way to work both into our session.
When will our photos be ready to view?
Three weeks after your wedding your your photos will be ready to be viewed online or you can also collect your USB key.
How would you describe your style?
I class myself as a documentary wedding photojournalist. My day is spent capturing the story of your day, unobtrusively.
Do you work with a second photographer?
I don’t. I want to tell the story of your wedding from my perspective and to be honest, you will have enough people surrounding you all day.
Are you insured?
Yes I am fully insured. I have professional indemnity insurance along with public liability insurance.
Are you a full-time photographer?
Absolutely.
My “job” is as a wedding photographer. This isn’t a hobby or part-time thing for me as it is with many other wedding photographers.
I’ve been shooting weddings full time for fifteen years and because I don’t also have a “day job”, I can give my business 100% commitment in terms of time and effort.
How do we book?
Just call or email me at any time and I will check availability. You are more than welcome to come to my studio in Ennis to discuss your wedding further.
I require a completed wedding form and a booking fee of €200 to secure my services for your wedding date. The retainer fee can be paid by bank transfer, cheque or cash. I can not hold dates without the form and fee. The remainder of the balance is due before or on the wedding date.
