A little about me
Paul Corey is a visual artist who tells stories and weaves narratives through the media of photography and video.
To start with, his own story is pretty interesting. Born and raised in Ennis, he developed an interest in photography at a young age but took a rather circuitous route to find himself where he is now (the tale involves lots of travelling, a grocery store and pianos). But fate – and sheer determination – led him back to his first love, and Paul now works out of a state-of-the-art photographic studio just doors away from his childhood home.
Storytelling is more than just an interest for Paul; it’s a passion. In his free time, he enjoys screenwriting and theatre direction, both of which feed into the same idea as his photography – telling a tale in the best light, in the most effective way, to truly showcase the characters at the heart of the story.
And because he believes in telling the whole story, Paul likes to work closely with his clients, from start to finish, so that he can guide them, every step of the way, towards the finished product. He can even frame or mount your chosen images in his studio (he finds this much more rewarding than emailing on a link to an online gallery).
Paul is an acclaimed and hugely popular wedding photographer and he utilises his entire skills base to relax the happy couple, draw from them their hopes and aspirations for the big day and then add some dramatic flair to create unforgettable images of the occasion.
So whether you wish to capture a special family moment, a corporate event or a landscape that has stolen your heart, Paul’s expertise, knowledge and unmitigated passion will ensure that you get not only the image you want, but the story that goes along with it.
And isn’t that what life is all about?
